BOTH YOUNG AND OLD NOW HAVE A PLACE OF GATHERING

Within the activities support to the people living in Palilula parts-settlements , the president of Palilula Assembly Milan Djurdjevic and member of the Council of Palilula Municipality Milos Stojkovic visited Krusce village where recently the works on the reconstruction of the Cultrual building `Radoje Domanovic` has recently finished. After the half century of construction with the efforts of the Citizen council with the support of Palilula Municipality this social obejct will again become the place of gathering of Krusce villagers that, according the last registration has around 1000 people.

During the last three years the big effort was made that in Krusce a number of current everyday problems should be solved like: drinking water supply, organized garbage out freight, removal of depo location. In this area the great problem is the lack of sewerage net and the slide land problem. According to the words of president Novakovic the expectations are that the part of the these communal problems of Krusce villagers will be taken into consideration and included in the works of Programme of investment construction of the city in 2012. Milos Stojkovic, member of Palilula Municipal council, who regularly visited the workers, reminds that the promises given to Krusce villagers is with this fulfilled. One higher degree of citizens initiative and participation of the villagers in the adaptation of their life space and surrounding and improvement of life quality of Krusce villagers is necessary – says Stojkovic.

Cultural building in Krusce is the continuance of the activities of support to the citizens of our Municipality in villages, said Milan Djurdjevic , president of Municipal Assembly. To remind here, the Municipality participated in renovating of this type of building in Lalinac and one room in Gabrovac. The value of these works is about 700,000 RSD. The thing that we have done in Krusce is the help to the villagers in the completing of works on village water supply system. We have provided three reservoirs from Republic Direction for property. Their market value is about 18,000 Euros. I am expecting that these people will possibly in the coming year get the secondary water supply net that will permanently solve this problem. No matter for the lack of financial resources, according to Djurdjevic words, the authorities of Municipality put efforts that in every village and settlement of Palilula should be done something. Our idea is that as more as possible we should transfer the part of authorities to our Local communities and citizens who live in them and in that way support the initiative of the people living there for better cooperation with the authorities organs and institutions.

The president of the Citizens Council of the citizens Tomislav Stojanovic says that in longer period nothing has been done in Krusce. So, now we are much grateful and thankful to the Municipality Palilula and I do not have any words for it anymore. Cultural building was in poor state starting from sport buffet to big hall. We have been seeking for the solution to provide also the work for the members of our cultural artistic society and football club `Morava – Krusce` . Social life finally comes back to our place. We hope that we will soon start with works on the regulation of sewerage system and installation of secondary water supply net. According to the words of Ratomir Zdravkovic , now the young from Krusce have the place to gather. We appreciate a lot this building – says Ratomir. Earlier here one could not even step into it was terrible and ruined. Palilula Municipality helped more than it should have. Now, we, the old, also have the place for our social life.
